On 28 July, The Toro Company Foundation and the ARA Foundation joined regional organizations and 11 rental businesses in Baltimore, targeting the United Way Family Center at Ben Franklin High School. The center provides free, full-day childcare for parenting students, and also offers early childhood education and support involving housing, food, and other needs.

Nearly 80% of teen parents who use the Family Center's services graduate from high school, compared to about 40% nationwide. Volunteers from the rental industry improved the center's outdoor space through playground upgrades and landscaping work.
